PEUGEOT’S ENTIRE VEHICLE LINE-UP OFFERED 100% ELECTRIC IN THE UK AS NEW E-408 OPENS FOR ORDERS


PEUGEOT has expanded its UK lineup to include an all-electric version of every model, with the launch of the new E-408. This marks the brand’s latest step toward becoming the leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer in Europe.


The E-408 is powered by a 58kWh usable battery and a 210hp (157kW) electric motor, offering an impressive range of 281 miles*. The vehicle combines the sleek appeal of a fastback design with zero emissions, delivering both efficiency and powerful performance with 345Nm of torque for an enjoyable driving experience.


The E-408’s innovative fastback design blends style, performance, and interior comfort. Available in ALLURE and GT trims, the E-408 comes with extra features compared to its hybrid and plug-in hybrid counterparts, including a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and the advanced PEUGEOT i-Connect® system with connected navigation.


PEUGEOT now leads the European market with one of the most extensive electric vehicle ranges, offering 12 electric models, including both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. In the UK, nearly one in three PEUGEOT cars sold in September were electric, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to electrification.


The E-408’s all-electric powertrain offers remarkable efficiency, ensuring a quiet, smooth ride and quick DC charging capabilities of up to 120 kW. This allows the battery to recharge from 20% to 80% in just over 30 minutes under optimal conditions. Additionally, it can regain 62 miles of range in just over 10 minutes, with charging optimized via the infotainment system, allowing users to limit the charge to 80% for longer battery life.


Standard on the E-408 is the PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, which includes a customizable 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch HD touchscreen, and five touch-sensitive i-Toggles for easy access to key functions. The vehicle also features PEUGEOT’s i-Connect® Advanced infotainment system, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto integration, connected navigation, and over-the-air updates. For enhanced trip planning, the E-ROUTES app is available through the i-Connect system, which helps drivers plan their journeys based on vehicle range, charging stations, traffic, and distance. 




Both ALLURE and GT trims come equipped with 19-inch GRAPHITE diamond-cut alloy wheels. The ALLURE trim includes LED headlights, the i-Connect® Advanced system with connected navigation, dual-zone climate control, a rear parking camera, and a heat pump, among other features. The GT model adds PEUGEOT Matrix LED headlights, 3D LED rear lights with dynamic lighting, aluminium interior decor, and a hands-free motorized tailgate. Additionally, the GT trim includes the Drive Assist Plus pack for semi-autonomous driving features.


The E-408 also benefits from PEUGEOT’s Allure Care program, which covers key components like the electric motor, charger, and transmission for up to 8 years/100,000 miles. This program automatically activates after each maintenance service performed by participating retailers in the PEUGEOT network, with coverage extended by an additional 2 years/16,000 miles after each service. PEUGEOT is the first European automaker to offer such comprehensive coverage, underscoring its confidence in the durability and reliability of its electric vehicles.

Orders for the E-408 opened on 4 December, with first deliveries expected in summer 2025.
